There was once I heard this over radio...that youngsters hardly blog now. Only more mature people continue to blog regularly now. Hm... Am I growing younger?
But seriously, who will read my blog now? I have forsaken it for almost a year and I bet the readers as well...
Following from my last post, which I commented about my one-month-old job. I actually just completed my one year. Work is definitely ain't easy. Met many downs and comtemplated to give up. But, I have not conquered the task yet! I shall not give up and find a way to conquer the challenge.
After working for a year, I actually gained alot. I sort of understand the difference between writing a marketing plan for a project and doing a marketing plan for a real project. In school, we jus and to plan, plan and plan. I will use the suitable marketing tool, work within a given budget to achieve my marketing objectives. In reality, it is different. You have to execute your marketing plan. While you are writing the marketing plan, you need to think of the execution. You may have the budget to carry out the task, but the task may lead to many complication. It may not be productive carrying out the plan, although you have the means.
I am about to embark on a new challenge. I am going to do freelance marketing for a chinese orchestra. Initially I thought it will be a short term project. But after meeting the person in charge last Friday, I realised it will be a long term commitment. Seriously I am not sure if I can lift up to the expectation. But I am going to try my best before giving up. I hope I can use what I had learned in my job on this new project.
