SYCO Annual Concert 2008

The Symphony of SYCO

Date: 7 June 08 (Sat)

Time: 8pm

Venue: Singapore Conference Hall

Attractions:

Me! (of coz, haha!) It's very likely my last public performance.

Besides, we're going to play songs from a variety of genre. From the very popular syf piece 'feng nian ji' to the outdated syf piece 'jiang jun ling'. The very emotional piece 'gu huai' to the very chirpy 'yan chi'. Not forgetting the very difficult symphony piece- gai da mei lin. This song will set many including the professional sco musicians to some vigorous fingers and minds workout.

I guess it's highly likely that none will purchase their tix after reading this post coz I guess not many appreciates chinese orchestral music anymore. But, I'm hoping for miracle.

I hope this coming concert will mark a beautiful ending/pause to all my years in the chinese orchestral scene.

Tang Xin is here!

Oh my god!!!

Tang Xin Feng Bao will start to create a stir on 2 June! I'm so excited!

Anyway, I wasn't online for the last fri, sat and sun. I felt rather alright with it. haha! I really enjoyed the past weekends a lot!

Argh!! I found out a rather disastrous news just a few mintues ago. Semester 3 for BBMKG will start on 7 JULY 08 instead of August 08!!! This is hell! I left about 6 weeks to the end of holidays! Why is this happening? My friends will be still playing while I'll be slogging! I'll slog for the exams before them and no one can slog with me! =( AND! Does that means my sem 4 will start in December 08 instead of Jan 09?

This holidays I wanna enjoy to the fullest because for the last exam I really put in my best! Why can't it be longer that it'll be on par with my friends' holidays? Haiz~

Happy Wednesday!

It's a yippee Wednesday! hee!

The pouring rain in the morning was definitely not enough to dampen my spirit today!

Today is the first movie and shopping spree after exams! I'm really looking forward to today and like what ling and yih said...I'm really happy when I accomplished all my purposes of the trip just now! Hee!! A bonus was that I'm really happy to learn that yih finds my blog interesting. haha!

First up! Ling did 'plastic surgery' for her new handphone! Hope her phone's 'beauty' will be long lived. Aiyah! Forget to take a picture of it. Only can tell you all that there's a pretty fairy on her phone, keeping an eye of it. =) For more information, please pester ling! Make her take a pic and post in her blog. hee!

Next was lunch! Yummy but rush lunch. It's the restaurant opposite man jia le. We all concluded that the res is doing fusion cruisine. hahaha! Don't really have much time to probe around. Do check it out the next time you visit the basement of The Cathay.

Movie next!

This movie is really hilarious! It can definitely brighten you day! Don't wish to comment too much coz I hope you all can watch it to find out. =)

My final task... To search for a present for Baby Le Le! Woohoo! Found it... A Thomas Train Educational Toy! Hope it'll be useful. Can't wait for Sunday to come!

Another happy event was that I completed a collection of the capsule toy series!! So happy! Coz each figurine was really cute. A blur peek of my collection- Daisy, Stitch, Dumbo, Tinkle Bell, Mickey and Minnie mouse.

On a side note... For the past two days... I realised there're a few tai tai hopefuls arounds me. hahaha! Next time if you all really become a tai tai, don't forget to treat me to high-tea! hee! If you all wanna get rid of your branded bags, you can throw them at my place. I'll be more than happy to turn it into a dumping ground. hee!

Abit bonker to say such things. BUT...whatever lah!

Slacky/sad Sunday

Today is a slacky sunday. Lazing around is such a nice feeling. But I wonder how long can I bear with this type of life. hahaha!

Feeling not very good now. I'm at my ah ma house with my ah ma now. She's busy with her stuff and I'm busying watching tv. Though I did not chat with her, I think she's glad that I'm here and I eat the porridge she cooked. It's the presence that counts.

Well, talked to my cousins on msn and ask why didn't they come. Got an expected answer from him. He feels it's a waste of time coming here. But, I didn't expect him from comparing himself to the other cousins. He said the other cousins also didn't come to ah ma house as frequent. My answer was ah ma dotes the both of you most. I can feel the saddness in her when she told me they're not coming this morning.

I just felt very disappointed because all these came from Eugene, the always-obedient grandson. If those words were to come from Simon, I won't have feel so much because I think ah ma nags at him the most.

Is there a way to measure fillial piety? Do you measure how much money you give your parents each month? Can you really compare yourself to others? I think you just have to treat them with your heart and you can warm their hearts.

I just don't understand. Other than my ah ma nagged, she didn't really expect much when me or my cousins visit her. Usually, we'll go on sunday, eat lunch then do our own stuff. We didn't spend time with her. Since we're not going out with friends, why not go to ah ma house to laze around and show our face? We're also doing the same thing if we stay at home isn't it? So why not just change a venue, make it at ah ma house?

He mentioned he'll go down on special occasions. Well, today is a special ocassion. It's mothers' day. Looking from a pessimistic view, my ah ma is almost 90 years old. How many more years can you actually visit her on a sunday?

My slacky sunday has turned to a sad sunday.

I wish all the mothers a Happy Mothers' Day! May all have good health!

Holidays

Long Live Holidays!

Felt so tired after the paper. Suddenly felt so aimless in life. For the next 3 months I'll be rather free I guess. Hopefully will find something to do and can earn more moolah. haha!

Baby Le Le(newphew) birthday is on next sunday. I need to get a present!!!

I made an important decision today! I've been thinking about it for a long time. However, guess my mother isn't very please with it.
