University of Society

Here I come...University of Society! Please welcome me with open arms!

I have worked for about 1.5 months already. I only can say I'm really busy now.

Working life definitely ain't easy but in some ways I am really lucky. My department is really small. There are only 4 people in the office, including myself. The rest of the departments are in other offices, meaning in their own room. Less people around means less politics I guess, which I felt it's somewhat true because I have work temp job before in a big office areas. However, I have to work across dept and small problems arised. Guess this is just part and parcel of worklife...like what my colleague always tells me...learn to manage these people. =)

So what about my boss? In general, I think she's okay, at least she's very objective. She can lecture all of us one moment then laugh with us in the next moment. I guess it's rather good coz bearing grudges is tiring! She lectures me alot...good and bad way... she said she is sharing her experience and I totally agree but all these take time...thus leaving me with little time to work.

It's getting really busy for all of us now... 2 events coming next month. 2 major meeting next month and 1 major meeting in Jan. This is what I can forsee at this point of time and I bet more are coming. I will get busy all the way to April...

I also have to be attentive of the global economy... it'll affect my performance in a way or another actually.. I also have to be aware of what my competitors are doing...which currently I do not have much idea. hahaha! I must also learn about international golf tournament... because we'll be organising one in end Feb, which we have started the preparation.

About two weeks ago, I attended my first Company D&D... hm....okay loh....not fantastic coz we stayed in the club. Something worth mentioning is that the long service award....not 3 years or 5 years for the start....they start with 10 years, 15 years, 20 years and 25 years...and there isn't just one receipient...there are a few for each category actually. WOW! At this point of time I really can't forsee 10 years there....initially I thought maybe 5 years will be good... so me and another fresh grad who just came were talking about this long service thing....and he actually have the idea to stay for as long as 10 years if nothing went wrong. Well....I hope I can stay for as long as possible too....

That's all for now....going for my driving lesson soon... will update again~

ps: I've not seen s13 girls for a long time....
