TV Fever

My TV Fever gonna start soon! It's probably already started! hahaha!

Starting off from Monday! Actually it's today, 11pm... today it's the start of the new season of Amazing Race!!! My ultimate favourite Reality Show!

Next up is Thursday! 11pm Project Runway! OMG! That's my latest new love. Have been watching the past 2 seasons thus I can't miss this of coz!

Friday is survivor! Well, it's the only show that I can afford to miss. Somehow I can allow myself to miss some episodes. Even though I'll miss it, survivor will always have recaps on the past happenings. So after watching the review, I can catch back the whole show again. I try not to get hook by survivor now! hahaha!

Besides the reality shows, I really love Hong Kong Drama! hee! Been missing the 8pm Ch 55 show and fortunately I'm not really hook by that show coz I missed it frequently. If I watch it from the start I'm sure to be glued to tv at 8pm daily. heng arh! But! A new show is coming up...it's about social dancing. Looks very interesting! I hope to watch it but I think it's going to debut near my exam period. haiz~

9 pm Ch 55 show! It's of coz my favourite of all coz it's starring lin feng! hahaha! I also missed lots of epi already, but if I'm at home, I'm sure to glue myself to the tv at 9pm.

Okay...listen up! Gonna introduce all of you a damn nice show!!!
Le Femma Desporado
I watched twice already and I think I'm gonna watch the third time on Ch U. That show will debut next thurs at 10pm. Be sure to catch it! Damn nice! Coz there's lin feng! Shuai! hahaha! Not forgetting the two very witty and beautiful main female leads. Wu Mei Heng and Deng Cui Wen... Without them in the show, even lin feng also can't draw that much attention from me. hee! Ladies out there!! Remember to watch ok! Coz that show is dedicated to you all!

That's all folks! I've got lots to do... Write report...Dig gems... haha! Seeya!

Looking forward to 4 Oct

I'm looking forward to 4 Oct!!!

Seriously...the past week was crazy for me!! Very torturous!

Review on Market Research Project=Very difficult!

Market research---> Statistic---> Maths
Frankly speaking, I quite like statistic when I was in JC and the business stats mod was my favourite last semester. However, doing those questions and learning to form those questions and carry out the testing was no easy task! Of coz... you can just form the question on blank paper...but in project you've gotta use software aid, such as SPSS, to help you achieve your aim. SPSS is not like MS Words or excel...you may not know how to use excel but that programme is readily available in your computer. So...it's hard to get that programme and to find someone to teach you how to use. You must be thinking...can borrow books and read mah..well, you're right...however, after reading we still cannot figure out how to use it. haiz!

Thursday 5pm was the deadline for the project on the same day 9am. Yup! Stayed over at my friend's place to chiong the project! Broke my own record for toning the night! All of them nap on the bus(from sch to house) and at my friend's house...but I'm the only one who didn't rest at all!

There're moments when me and SH felt that our heart pumped very fast! We were really nerous at times coz we really felt clueless and directionless about the project. Haiz! So we type and type all the way till around 6am while compiling and found out that...We'd missed out a section! The section cost 8%(out of my total grade)! So me and SH panicked!!

So Thurdays I went home and slept on my bed for 2 hours and went to work. I felt that I'm like a zombie walking around my counter! I even answered a question which I felt that it's wrong, but I still gave that answer. After that I consulted my colleague and confirm that the answer was wrong. Amazing! of coz...the answer has no implication. so no big deal with that wrong answer.

Right now, I've gotta do another project, which is going to due on 4 Oct. Seriously... felt so ARGH! regretted choosing that section to do. I thought that section would be interesting and I'll be able to gain alot from it, but I hated that part now! Because...got to put in alot of effort!!! Mw and I were in charge of that section...after reading it...we think it's also a part that's rolled over from my fren's part. so we spilt some job to her. but! fri she emailed us and said that she's no textbook and won't be helping us with that. WOW! no textbook also have lecture notes rite? what to say now? nothing...just do my part loh! This tells us...don't try to act smart next time. If can push...push! ahahaha!!! but of coz...I'm not those irresponsible sort so won't push that much. hahaha!

That's all folks! It's Consumer Behaviour project time!!!

Lesson Learnt From Organisational Behaviour

Lesson Learnt From Organisational Behaviour

1. Conflict is unavoidable. Constructive conflict will be preferred! Constructive conflict refers to those arise from the task, no personal involvement at all.

2. Be impartial. Do not judge others by appearance or hearsay

3. EQ is very important. I think it's slightly important than IQ

Today is the submission of my organisational behaviour. Though I'd written the conclusion of the report on Sat, I think today is the day which I really concluded the whole organisational behaviour project with an important lesson learnt.

Organisational behaviour is an extremely important module of all. It taught you about the different types of behaviour and gave insights on how to survive in a company later on. With the aid of OB, you'll be able to understand and master mind games better.

Well, today, a very childish fight occured. WJ wasn't happy that, me, SH and MW reprinted the whole report without seeking permission from the other team mates. Errr....WJ said we did not respect her as our group mate. Seeking permission for such matter is extremely important because we're doing a group project. (*pause for a second. Did you go....What?!!)

Hm... So I replied... 'We've got to reprint the whole project because RMIT assignment submission guideline states that we must print the report on single side' (first print was on double side). Quarrel started...but not particularly with me actually. MW shoot back...'You need not pay for the reprint'. The fighting went on and I'm really feeling so ridiculous!

After I left the LT, I received a call from WJ asking me the exact page and line from the course guide of the requirement to print on single side. DOT! Such a ridiculous phone call! Quarrel with me so much...keep saying this is a group project yet we act on our own. When I sort of convinced her to let go on such trival matter (that's becoz I reminded her of her absence during the group meeting), she started to harp that she's hurt by MW remark. She thinks it's an insult to tell her that she need not pay for the reprint...it's as if saying that she doesn't have the money to pay. (* pause: are you rather puzzle now? haha)

Well, WJ is actually pin-pointing at MW and not me, but she doesn't want to talk to MW and called me to tell me those shit. This is such a childish fight...

WJ was pre-occupied with some negative hearsay of MW (too long to narrate now). So every meeting it's so clear that she's out to go against MW.
MW was somehow insensitive with her reply. My first reply was...'it was RMIT criteria to print on single side'. But MW's reply was...'you need not pay for the reprint'.

This incident has showed me...
1. Personal conflict occur. WJ was against MW and not the reprint, but she uses the reprint part to flare up
2. WJ was not impartial at all. She form an impression of MW by hearing what others say and not through interaction with her.
3. Both do not display high EQ. WJ harp on such trival matter, while MW is not careful with words.

That's all folks! Hope you all learnt a lesson from this lil story. If you happen not to understand me, please pardon me. Coz today's incident was a result of a chain effect... got to explain alot to fully understand what's happening.

I go off liao! Seeya!

How to complete your homework in a short time?

Now it's 11.46am. How to finish your accounting assignment in a short time while you still have to do your market research project and your organisational behaviour project by tomorrow so that you can send your parts to your group mates and proceed with the report? This is such a good question! Read on to find out how!

Time required to complete 2 past year exam questions
In an exam condition, you need 3 hours to do one paper. That's when you're fully prepared and your know your stuff at finger tips. However, in this 3 hours you're bound to have some mental block. In a normal condition, I bet you'll need at least 3 hours to complete the paper without referecing to notes. Usually, in normal condition, you'll strive to give your best in an assignment, thus you'll attempt all questions and provide sufficient anwsers. Hence you need at least another hour to flip through your notes and think. Therefore, to complete 2 past years papers for assignment purpose, you require a minimum of 6 hours.

Amount of time in hand
My accounting lesson starts at 10am tomorrow and I'll have to hand in that piece of assignment by 10am. If I hand in past 10am, it wouldn't be counted and all my efforts will be wasted. From now till tomorrow 10am. I've 10 hours. Minus the time required to do the questions, I'll have 4 hours left. I need about 1 hour 30 mins to school. So that'll be 2 hours 30 mins to do MR, OB, sleep, bathe and pack bag. Question is...how to squeeze in so many tasks in such a short time?

Opportunity Cost
The answer lies in a theory in economy called the 'opportunity lost'. Do I spent 6 hours to get the full 12% of the final score or do I spent that same 6 hours to get 35% of OB final score and 40% of MR final score. An economist will definitely choose the later, that is to spend 6 hrs on OB and MR, because the effect to forgone that 6 hours is greater. You can't afford to lose it.

Being a business student and especially I'm a marketing student, my greatest interest is to generate the greatest profit for my organisation/group. Facing such condition, my concern is to choose the best out of the worst!

In conclusion, the fastest way to complete your homework is to... ...
DON'T DO YOUR WORK AT ALL!!

This also means I'll have 3 missing attendance for the accounting class because I won't be going to the class tomorrow since I'm not handing in my work. I'll have more time to do my MR and OB properly and more time to rest!

ps: If you find this post amusing...then you've got it! That's the point! It's suppose to be. I find this so amusing! Hahaha! In order to stop my accounting grade from worsening I'll have to work triply hard for my final exam!!! I just want a credit...that's all!

That's all folks! Got to start working on my project!

ARHH moments

My holidays gonna officially start on 10 November 2008, 4.30pm onwards. It seems like I ended my sem around the same time as last year, but this year I started one month earlier. Doesn't that means I have a longer sem? or maybe because I've longer studying period. It's a good thing to have a longer study period coz this sem have no test at all. Up till now, I didn't revise. I've been doing project, projects and more projects.

I'm looking forward to 4 Oct! It's the day I'll submit my last project and after that can go havoc for a while! hahaha! gonna eat korea bbq at far east after that! can't wait!

Very pissed now! got to do all question for 2 past year papers for accounting tutorial submission! That submission is actually to punish those people who has missed 2 lessons/didn't sign attendance on 2 days. I'm one of them! ARGH! I went for all lessons and wasn't late for any! But because there're 2 times I didn't mark my attendance(lazy to so didn't bother), I had to submit the assignment. If not I would get the full 12 marks for the tutorial submission which will account to my overall result. ARGH! so damn it! This story tells us... Please remember to sign your attendance! Don't be lazy although attendance may not seem important. You never know when your lect will go mad and want you to account for those missing attendance!

To end off this post....Sit back and relax for another wacky commercial.
ps: the very last scene is very much what I feel like doing now!

Feeling sad

I'm feeling a lil down today! Suddenly felt that I really detest studying...alright...I shan't be so harsh... I dislike studying. Haiz...

I keep thinking that I'm really shallow. I study not because I love to and really enjoying it. I do it because of other people's wish and of coz for the future. But of coz, I really feel privilege to have the chance to study.

Today I met wei ye, cui fen and hong han at Isetan! Cool! Long time never see them! Really miss them and the days back at SAC.

The question popped up again... 'Aren't you tired? Gotta go school in the morning and then work in the afternoon.' I always answer that it's okay...used to it so don't feel tired. Well, in fact, if I've a choice, I will choose to go home.

Tons of work waiting for me to complete or to even start with it... Not a single revision done. Exams are coming soon, though I've yet to receive the exam schedule. I hope to laze around!

I'm an optimist! I'll feel happy soon.

Cheers!
